Popular Nigerian singer Ruger has revealed that romantic relationships don’t seem to work for him. Speaking during an interview with Naija FM, the Asiwaju crooner shared insights into his love life and career.
“I’m a loverboy by nature,” Ruger admitted. “But I’ve come to understand that relationships don’t work for me. Initially, when I meet a girl, my first instinct is to think about getting serious with her, but eventually, I lose interest.”
When asked about his interactions with female fans, Ruger clarified that he keeps things professional. “Honestly, no, I don’t take my interactions with female fans offstage. The most I can give is a flower during a performance. It’s like we’re working together, and that’s where it ends for me.”
On his career journey, Ruger expressed gratitude for his progress and determination to stay focused. “I don’t want to go back to the streets; I have to take care of my family. It wasn’t easy when I started, and it’s still not easy now. I pay salaries and fund a lot of things myself. God has been blessing my efforts, and I’m grateful.”
The talented artist continues to inspire fans with his music while navigating the challenges of fame and personal growth.
