President Bola Tinubu has returned to Abuja following a nearly three-week stay in Lagos, during which he celebrated the Christmas and New Year holidays. The Airbus A330 carrying the President and his aides landed at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport at approximately 9:30 pm on January 7, 2025.
During his time away from the capital, President Tinubu attended the inauguration of Ghana’s President John Mahama in Accra and also visited Enugu State. Upon arrival in Abuja, he was received by Chief of Staff Femi Gbajabiamila, National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu, and other senior security officials.
This return marks the conclusion of the President’s engagements during the festive period, signaling a resumption of official duties in the nation’s capital.
