Renowned Nigerian singer Innocent Idibia, known as Tuface or 2Baba, has revealed that he and his wife, Annie Idibia, have been separated for some time and are currently filing for divorce. He shared this news in a now-deleted Instagram post, stating, “I and Annie Macauley have been separated for a while now, and currently filed for divorce.”
Tuface plans to hold a press conference to share his side of the story, emphasizing his desire to communicate directly with his fans. He wrote, “I would grant a press release soon to say my story. Not because it is anyone’s right to know about my personal life, but because I love my people and I want them to know my innocence or offense.”
Following speculations that his Instagram account might have been hacked, Tuface clarified in a subsequent post that his account was secure and the announcement was genuine.
The couple, who married in 2012, have been celebrated as one of Nigeria’s iconic celebrity pairs. Their separation has come as a surprise to many fans and admirers.
