President Bola Tinubu has left Nigeria for Paris on a 14-day working visit. The trip is focused on reviewing his administration’s progress and planning ahead of his second year in office.

The visit will allow the president to assess key policies, evaluate reforms, and prepare for future steps. It is part of ongoing efforts to measure performance and set goals for the next phase of his leadership.

Officials say the president will use the time to reflect on what has been achieved so far, especially in areas like the economy and governance. He is expected to meet with close aides and review detailed reports on various sectors.

One of the major highlights is the growth in Nigeria’s net foreign exchange reserves, which rose from $3.99 billion in 2023 to $23.11 billion in early 2025. The increase is linked to reforms that began at the start of his administration.

Though away from the country, President Tinubu will remain in contact with his cabinet and continue to oversee important matters. He is expected to return in two weeks.
