Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has been remanded in Oke Kura Correctional Centre in Ilorin, Kwara State. This comes after he was unable to meet the bail conditions set by the Magistrate Court.

Portable was arraigned on charges related to defamation and cyberbullying. The court granted him bail in the sum of ₦1 million, with two sureties required. However, he was not able to fulfill the conditions, leading to his temporary detention.

The charges were filed following a complaint by Fuji artist Saheed Osupa, who accused Portable of defamation and online harassment.

The court has scheduled the next hearing for April 15, 2025.

This development adds to the singer’s growing list of public controversies and legal troubles. His actions continue to draw attention both from fans and legal authorities.
