Harshita Brella, 24, who was found dead in the boot of a car, had been under the protection of a court order for victims of domestic abuse. Northamptonshire Police began searching for her after receiving a welfare call on November 13, just one day before her body was discovered. A post-mortem examination determined that the preliminary cause of death was strangulation.
The manhunt for her husband, Pankaj Lamba, 23, is ongoing, with police releasing new CCTV images in an effort to locate him. Authorities believe Lamba fled the country following the tragic incident.
