A recent video has caused public concern, showing masked police officers entering a property without a warrant. In the footage, two armed officers, faces covered, demand entry into a house. When the occupants refuse without seeing identification or a warrant, one officer fires a shot and climbs over the fence to open the gate for his partner.

In response, Police Public Relations Officer ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi stated that officers can enter any property without a warrant if they believe a crime is happening inside. However, he criticized the officers’ attire, noting that wearing masks and improper clothing is against police rules. He emphasized the need to address both the reason for the forced entry and the inappropriate dress of the officers involved.

The incident has sparked discussions about police conduct and the balance between law enforcement authority and citizens’ rights.
