The atmosphere in Katsina was heavy with silence as the presidential aircraft touched down. The sun sank over the smoky northerly skyline, President Buhari’s corpse is laid to rest on the country where he was raised. With prayers being recited and heads raised in reverence, the citizens of Daura said goodbye to Buhari, who was once the leader of Nigeria through the most difficult changes.
