A new round of kidnappings suspected in the Dass Local Government Area of Bauchi State has sparked alarm following news reports of four persons were kidnapped and one was murdered in separate attacks during the last two weeks.

While the target was able to escape the scene, the gunmen were allegedly able to kidnap 3 other people as well, including the 10 year old boy and a man who was just returning from hospital, and a third resident.
